Refund, Wallet Withdrawal and Transaction Policy

This Policy governs wallet top-ups, withdrawal requests, material sale confirmations, and transaction dispute protocols for all Customers, Sellers, Merchants, and Buyers participating in the BRECO Technologies Private Limited marketplace platform.

1. Wallet Top-Up and Eligibility

  • 1.1.Merchants/Buyers must maintain a minimum wallet balance of ₹500 (Rupees Five Hundred only) to remain eligible to receive and accept material collection requests through the Platform.
  • 1.2.The number, priority, visibility, and proximity of collection requests made available to a Merchant may depend on the available wallet balance, Merchant location, operational coverage, service quality, demand, and other Platform-defined eligibility criteria.
  • 1.3.A wallet top-up does not guarantee any minimum number of collection requests, material quantity, transaction value, earnings, profit, or exclusive access to requests.
  • 1.4.Wallet balances may be used only for purposes permitted on the Platform and are subject to the Platform’s applicable fees, charges, deductions, settlements, promotions, and operating rules, as communicated from time to time.

2. Wallet Withdrawal Requests

  • 2.1.Subject to the minimum required wallet balance, any applicable holds, pending transactions, chargebacks, disputes, service fees, and verification requirements, a Merchant may submit a withdrawal request for the available withdrawable balance through the Platform.
  • 2.2.Withdrawal requests shall be processed through UPI or such other payment method as may be made available by the Platform from time to time.
  • 2.3.The Merchant must provide a valid UPI ID and ensure that the UPI account belongs to, or is lawfully operated by, the Merchant. The Platform shall not be responsible for loss, delay, failure, or misdirection of payment caused by an incorrect, inactive, blocked, restricted, or incorrectly entered UPI ID.
  • 2.4.Withdrawal requests may be subject to daily limits, minimum withdrawal amounts, processing timelines, KYC/identity verification, fraud-prevention checks, and other operational controls determined by the Platform.
  • 2.5.The Platform may place a temporary hold on, delay, reject, reverse, or adjust a withdrawal request where there is a suspected error, fraudulent activity, breach of these Terms, incomplete verification, pending complaint, disputed transaction, legal requirement, or any amount otherwise payable by the Merchant to the Platform.
  • 2.6.A wallet balance is not a bank deposit, savings account, investment, or interest-bearing account. No interest shall accrue on wallet balances unless expressly stated by the Platform in writing.

3. Material Sale Confirmation and Transfer of Responsibility

  • 3.1.A transaction between a Customer/Seller and a Merchant/Buyer shall be treated as completed when the material sale is confirmed through the one-time password (“OTP”) verification process available on the Platform.
  • 3.2.
    By providing, sharing, or validating the OTP for a transaction, the Customer/Seller confirms that:
    • the material has been handed over, sold, or made available to the Merchant/Buyer as agreed;
    • the transaction amount, material category, quantity, and other transaction details have been reviewed to the extent available on the Platform;
    • the Customer/Seller has voluntarily completed the transaction; and
    • ownership, custody, risk, and responsibility relating to the sold material pass to the Merchant/Buyer upon successful OTP confirmation, unless otherwise specifically agreed between the parties.
  • 3.3.Once OTP confirmation is successfully completed, the Customer/Seller shall be responsible for the accuracy of the transaction confirmation and shall not hold the Platform liable for disputes arising from material quality, weight, quantity, grading, price negotiation, condition, loading, transportation, handling, storage, resale, or any agreement independently made between the Customer/Seller and Merchant/Buyer.
  • 3.4.The Customer/Seller must not share the OTP until they are satisfied that the material has been collected or handed over and the transaction terms have been accepted.

4. No Refund After Completed Transaction

  • 4.1.The Platform acts as a technology-enabled marketplace and facilitation service connecting Customers/Sellers with Merchants/Buyers. Unless expressly stated otherwise, the Platform is not the purchaser, seller, owner, transporter, processor, or guarantor of the waste material involved in a transaction.
  • 4.2.Once a transaction has been successfully confirmed through OTP verification, it shall be considered final and completed. The Platform does not provide a refund, return, cancellation, reversal, replacement, or compensation for a completed material-sale transaction between a Customer/Seller and Merchant/Buyer.
  • 4.3.Any dispute relating to the agreed price, weight, material quality, material type, contamination, quantity, payment settlement, collection timing, transport, or condition of the material shall primarily be resolved directly between the Customer/Seller and Merchant/Buyer.
  • 4.4.The Platform shall not be liable for commercial losses, loss of material, loss of profit, pricing differences, quality disputes, transportation losses, indirect damages, or any claim arising after successful OTP confirmation, except to the extent liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.
  • 4.5.This no-refund policy does not limit the Platform’s right to investigate cases involving a technical failure, duplicate transaction, unauthorized access, fraud, misuse of OTP, payment-processing error, or any legal or regulatory requirement. Any correction, reversal, or adjustment in such cases will be assessed at the Platform’s sole discretion and in accordance with applicable law and payment-partner rules.

5. Customer Support and Complaints

  • 5.1.Customers/Sellers and Merchants/Buyers may contact the Platform Helpdesk through the “Contact Support” feature, customer-support channels, or issue-raising facility available in the mobile application.
  • 5.2.Users should report concerns promptly and provide relevant details, including transaction ID, date and time, registered mobile number, Merchant/Buyer details, screenshots, photographs, OTP confirmation details, and any other information reasonably required for review.
  • 5.3.The Platform may facilitate communication, review available records, temporarily restrict accounts, or take appropriate action where misuse, fraud, policy violation, or technical error is identified. However, support assistance does not constitute a guarantee of refund, recovery, compensation, or resolution in favour of either party.
  • 5.4.The Platform may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to any user account where it reasonably suspects fraudulent activity, false complaints, OTP misuse, abuse of the wallet system, unlawful sale of material, or breach of these Terms.
